Axes and Os

This is a slasher movie. It moves like a slasher movie. It sounds like a slasher movie. And it plays like a slasher movie. It has very few unique features and is just a slasher movie. And then there's the twist. The twist appears four minutes before the end and is completely unearned and unexpected. It contributes nothing to the story, does nothing to propel the plot forward, and is just a thing that happens because that's what the writers wanted. It's such a weird thing to have included in a movie like this, and I don't see the point of it being there at all. Overall, this wasn't a bad experience, but certainly not a great one.
