Criminals: Caught on Camera - Season 2

Host Nick Wallis reveals some of the street crime captured by London's 400,000 CCTV cameras: fights, robberies, drug crimes and a massive gun rampage.

The show examines the staggering rise in retail crime -- both shoplifting and violence against employees -- and how CCTV cameras make a difference.

In one year alone, more than a million crimes were committed on London area roads. Fortunately, CCTV cameras help bring those responsible to justice.

Host Nick Wallis visits CCTV centers that work to control the rising tide in personal violence by gun-toting or knife-wielding suspects.

A residents' neighborhood watch group turns up the heat on criminals, while CCTV cameras capture a gang invading a housing estate.

Nick Wallis reveals how police increasingly turn to CCTV to enforce the law and fight crime, and shares videos of criminals caught in the act.

CCTV cameras catch alcohol-fueled violence in progress, as an operator tracks a perpetrator through the streets and a man is stomped in a fight.

Rescue helicopter India99 saves three women from drowning and helps police on the ground track a band of graffiti artists, all of it caught on camera.
