Miwa Inuzuka meets the cheerful Saeko Sawatari at the light music club. When they unexpectedly discover that they both like women, they decide to give dating a try.

Miwa and Saeko’s secret kiss is witnessed by their clubmates. Saeko fears that their relationship will be exposed, but instead, they are met with warm support from everyone.

During their club’s summer training camp, Saeko and Miwa face a new challenge in their relationship. Seeing how popular Miwa is with everyone, Saeko gradually realizes just how strong her possessiveness has become.

Saeko runs into old classmates and shuts herself off again, while Miwa also feels uneasy about her upcoming high school reunion.

After the reunion, Miwa hides her shaken feelings and continues preparing a song for the school festival with Saeko as if everything were normal.

As the school festival begins, Saeko and Miwa try to hold their crumbling relationship together by repeatedly reaffirming that they still “like” each other.

After breaking up, Saeko and Miwa return to being just “friends.” Encouraged by a close friend, Miwa finally confesses her feelings to the high school senior she has secretly loved for years.

Heartbroken and afraid of being alone, Miwa clings to Saeko. Their complicated relationship crosses boundaries, and Saeko accepts their convenient arrangement despite her guilt. Realizing her feelings for Miwa haven’t changed, Saeko makes a decision. As time passes, they each begin a new chapter in life.
