Paul and Bob are joined by terrier Ted, sadly for the final time, to fish the River Ribble in Lancashire. They are hoping to catch barbel, and Ted hopes to taste Bob’s hotpot.

Paul and Bob fish in Norfolk, hoping to catch a big bream. Bob throws a 70s-themed birthday party for Paul in a historic tower, and they both reminisce about Ted.

Paul and Bob head to Shetland, the furthest place in the UK they have travelled to fish. It’s wild, beautiful and full of surprises for both of them.

Paul and Bob travel to the upper Tees, where Bob shares some very special childhood memories. They are joined by an old friend who tells them spooky tales about the river.

Paul and Bob fish two vast loughs in County Tyrone, hoping to lure an elusive pike out of hiding. Bob has a fail-safe method to try, but will he manage to catch one?

Paul and Bob visit the Beaulieu River in Hampshire to fish for mullet and take a boat trip on the Solent to try for a smooth hound. Dr Anand visits them in their accommodation.
